Hydro-Generated Mobile Substations for Quiet Production
Technical Description: Replacing the traditional “noisy” film set environment, this project provided a 1MVA mobile substation for a major motion picture shoot in an urban residential zone. By tapping directly into the local utility grid, the solution eliminated the need for multiple diesel generators, providing 100% silent power for sensitive audio recording. The technical setup included custom “spider boxes” and portable distribution hubs tailored for rapid deployment and strike-down between filming locations.
